You should try the filter for three days, then take a water sample and send it to the lab to see how many contaminants are left. **Q: Does the filter work when upside down** A: This is not a gravity filter. This filter works by water pressure forcing it through various chambers inside , I’m sure it will work even if its installed at any angle.
