Item is sold as unlocked and compatible with GSM 1900 MHz HSPA+/HSDPA/UMTS. Specification matches with service provided by Claro SLV. Hotspot cannot connect neither to the 2G Edge network. Although I set it up for English, the screen message on the hotspot in in Chinese, so I have no idea of what it may be telling me. Looks is nice, but once you open it to insert the SIM card, it seems fragile and if as made out of cheap recycled plastic. Seller was contacted looking for support to fix the problem. He or she responded immediately the first time, suggesting to setup the APN manually. This, I had tried already. I sent screenshots for what I think could help seller identify the problem, expecting a solution, but after two week, I have heard nothing. ITEM IS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN OTHER BETTER KNOW BRANDS. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AS I DID. SINCE I AM NOT LOCATED IN THE STATES, I PAID FOR FREIGHT AND DUTIES FROM MIAMI TO MY HOME COUNTRY. IT WOULD BE MORE EXPENSIVE TO SEND IT BACK TO CHINA. I HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM THE SELLER OFFERING A SOLUTION.

Solid product, interface a bit clunky.
I recently took this to Australia. It was a bit clunky at first, and the mobile version of the admin screen does not work correctly, but I was finally able to get the correct settings for Vodafone placed in the unit. Once I did, it worked great! Battery life is as advertised. I'm looking forward to using this locally here in the States for internet for our lake house!

good seller.bad product.
good product, but doesn't support the automaic searching. When you choose the automatic searching and restart the device, still the device works manually and you have to search again to choose the network. I talked to the seller but he didn't solve this stupid problem. this the first time I face stupid device like this, even if you reset the device to the factory setting, the manual searching still!!!. I tried to change the APN but nothing is new. I hope the seller will help me soon, I want an old or new updat which I think will solve this stupid problem
