I use my Roomba 3 times a week** A: We use the roomba every day. We clean it after every use. We have 5 shedding dogs, so it is nice to just exchange the dirty parts with clean pieces and continue cleaning, while we are then cleaning and removing hair from the dirty ones. We have not had to totally replace any of the parts in the 5 months we've had it. **Q: I see reviews that the side briushes don’t fit because the screws are too short. Can you just reuse the original screws that came with the iRobot?** A: They are exactly the same size for the 650. You could certainly reuse the originals, but I wasn’t a review that said they didn’t fit so not sure the issue there. These screws are indeed short. If you have a machine with longer screws, I’d assume you could just reuse those if that is the only reason they don’t work.
