But this particular blend of metals is still considered stainless, although it CAN rust, if you don't dry it promptly, although it seems to take some abuse of this before it actually rusts. However, I love it because it's hypoallergenic and I have tons of allergies. The design of this whole set of flatware is beautiful and brilliant as far as ergonomics is concerned.
