I compared the two in a quasi-scientific experiment. I took two equal cups of water and two cups of tea. 4 cups in total. I added the sweeteners into the cups. Measured using equal tablespoons by using a butter knife and "evening off" the spoon of sweetener with the flat part of the butter knife. Very Unscientific but the best I could come up with at the time. My sample size was also just two people, which is absurdly small. Myself and my father. We both agreed that there was no difference in taste with the sweetened tea. However, the "Sweeteners USA Monk Fruit Sweetener" was a clear winner in the cup of water taste test.In short, in tea I noticed no difference. But in water, this brand won in taste compared to Lakanto. It was slightly less bitter, more sweet and/or pleasant. For that reason, I will use USA brand of sweetener from now on. It is also the more expensive of the two brands. I will certainly be on the look out for a competitive product that is just as or more pleasant to taste and better in price. This product is expensive!I hope to run better and more rigorous tests in the future and giving other brands another shot and also see if quality control of some brands have increased or decreased. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ In my opinion, this is one of the best tasting sweeteners on the market. *by E***Y on August 25, 2016* I really love monk fruit sweeteners much better than anything else that I've tried. There is a difference between brands in flavor, this is one of the two brands that I purchase. Crystals feel, measure and taste very similar to cane sugar. I've addled it to Iced tea, lemonade from fresh lemons and I've baked with it.
