My baby is 8 months now and it still fits him very well and I think it will continue to fit for many months. It's very adjustable and I love the fact that the brim can easily go up or be straight for more sun protection. It covers my babies ears and neck and is very cute. I got the sea turtle batik and it looks very masculine and summery. It's a great hat for those days you need to go out & only have time to put sunblock on your babies nose and hands. Between the elastic you can tighten around the head and the ties, this is the only hat that actually stays on my baby. Each time we put it on he would try to pull it off once, and then completely forget about it and wear it for hours at a time on the beach.
