It is not meant for long term water storage. I have 100 gallon high grade food grade water containers with a metal grid for stability which I store water in for long term use, but after 3 months I will use it on my garden & refill it to be sure it is fresh & viable. The product is durable enough to be re-used, however there is risk associated with not properly drying out the bladder after use.
