The only 2 ways to forcibly remove the lock is by using a cut-off grinding wheel or picking open the combination, neither of which your common criminal will do in a hurry. I'm a professional locksmith for 35 years. **Q: Does the round padlock slide smoothly?** A: We had one that worked well but the second one in the pack was difficult to lock...required a “jiggle” which we thought would be too cumbersome when locked. It is on a 40 ft family storage container but it will not work, how can I reset it?** A: If for some reason your combination stops working and you cannot unlock the padlock you will have to drill it off.
