Is this an alternate chin strap?** A: It might be, but I don’t use the elastic, the head circumference fits my head perfectly that I don’t have to worry about the hat falling off. **Q: Is the "white" hat natural colored, as it looks in the picture, or actually white?** A: The hat is a light tan color, may be called natural. I love that it really covers my face and neck from the sun. **Q: Does anyone know the circumference of this hat? I have bad experiences with O/S fits all....** A: Actual measured range of crown size is 50-55cm (with an adjusting belt for the lower end). But it's probably only going to fit well the range 52cm (20.50in / 6 3/8 UK / 6 1/2 US) to 54cm (21.25in / 6 5/8 UK / 6 3/4 US). Someone with a 55cm crown size would probably find this uncomfortably tight, so beware if your crown size is over 54cm (UK hat size 6 5/8, or US hat size 6 3/4). The adjusting belt also does not seem very effective at maximum range, so beware if your crown size is under 52cm (UK hat size 6 3/8, or US hat size 6 1/2). Photo/description falsely claims crown size is 55-59cm, which is completely false. The material also does not stretch at all. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Will buy again *by G*** on May 17, 2025* I like this hat, it definitely protects from the sun. I’m from Arizona where I’m always getting sun burnt and this is great since it has lots of coverage. What I would say I don’t like is that it’s pretty oversized so you can’t see much, what makes up for this is that you can pretty much fold it anyways you want and I like the string attachment that is removable and adjustable so it won’t fly off with the wind.
