Tolerable Daily Intake (TDI): 0.1 mg coumarin per kg body weight (1) 6.97 g coumarin per kg saigon cinnamon = 6.97 mg coumarin per g saigon cinnamon (2) 0.1 / 6.97 = 0.01435 0.01435 g saigon cinnamon per kg body weight = 0.002503 tsp saigon per lb body weight (3) Some examples: 50kg : 718 mg daily 60kg : 861 mg daily 70kg : 1010 mg daily 80kg : 1150 mg daily 100lbs : 0.250 tsp daily 120lbs : 0.300 tsp daily 150lbs : 0.375 tsp daily 180lbs : 0.451 tsp daily While it may not seem like much cinnamon, keep in mind that this is only if consumed in the full amount and daily.
