Review: I like my brain on this - I can't tell if it's actually having an effect or if I've placebo-ed myself into believing it has an effect but I take a couple in the morning (especially when attempting an intermittent fast...) and my brain is a whole lot less foggy than when I dont. It's possible that changing (improving) the types of food I eat help too but from a purely anecdotal report: I took my A L-Carn in the morning, ate really healthy that day (talking mad amounts of salmon, slow digesting vegs - carrots- and my dark leafys - broccoli) and did a fair amount of weightlifting exercise too, but the next day I forgot to take my A L-Carn and I was cranky and exhausted. To make up for being all foggy headed that day, I ate a lot of fast processed carbs (I'm talking buckets of sugar), still felt crabby, and did a cardio intense workout later than evening (better at that point with energy to spare), but the next day I took my A L-Carn and was definitely not nearly as cranky and exhausted.
