**Q: What is the grit of this dressing stick? Norton silicon carbide in 6 grades.**
A: It's medium grit.

**Q: Will this work to dress a grinding wheel on a chainsaw sharpener**
A: Dressing an abrasive grinding wheel is its only purpose.  I would suppose it will dress a chainsaw sharpener depending on how small the space is.  The dressing stick has to fit within the available space in order to contact the chainsaw sharpeners grinding wheel.

**Q: What is the grit size of this stick? Or can you give me the norton part number to look it up?**
A: It is very coarse and useful for rough sharpening. Can follow up with smoother sharpening stones. Not sure of the actual grit size.

**Q: Will this work on an aluminum oxide grind wheel?**
A: Yes it will.
