Since he is unable to go this year due to the virus, we had to find it elsewhere. I was skeptical since you read so many people telling you about fake saffron. The box is a nice wooden box that I plan on using for jewelry. Second - the saffron comes packaged in a glass bottle with a cork!!! Okay, so this is one thing I will forever use. How awesome and so thankful. The ones from India are in some small plastic container if that. This is a thick sturdy glass bottle and the cork is tight so it will keep fresh. Third - when I opened and smelled it I was hit with the freshest smell that was sweet and had such an amazing aroma. I was in the process of testing it. Fourth - soaked 2 strands in some warm water to see the color. I was blown away. 2 strands had more bright yellow color than any of the Indian saffron we ever had.
