I really enjoy drinking this in the morning. At first, I was kind of thinking that it really won't be that tasty, but they have just the perfect blend of stevia leaf extract and xylitol in it. Plus, the cocoa flavor is very good. What I am the most impressed about this drink is that you don't get the sugar crash later on. That was the BIGGEST problem that I had shortly after eating a carb breakfast. I'm learning about how this healthy eating all works, and I do have to say that I really enjoy it. It fills me up and I can go right to my first break at work not feeling hungry. But finding something like this product was my main objective, as I always was a big carb consumer first thing in the morning. Dr. Berg was spot on with this drink! Thank you!

So I started using Dr. Bergs Kale shake as a stand in breakfast about 5 months ago. Being too busy(or lazy in the morning) to make breakfast, this shake gave me just the right amount of get up and go I needed. The shake tastes like chocolate! Not chalky, not gritty... It mixes very well with unsweetened almond milk, and sometimes in a pinch ill use water. I find that if I start my day with an Instant Kale shake, I can make it to lunch time with energy and without feeling crazy amounts of hunger. About a month ago after watching a couple of Dr. Bergs Youtube videos, I was inspired to start a ketogenic diet. I've kept up with the kale shake in the mornings (its very low carb) and managed to quickly get into ketosis. So far ive lost 23 pounds, and it feels like its coming off without too much effort. I will continue to use Dr. Bergs Instant Kale shake to help me meet my daily nutritional goals. I have a long way to go to lose this weight, but I figure keeping this product in my diet will help me get healthy and continue to lose weight.Thank you Dr. Berg for a wonderful product.

I love Dr Berg, his videos have been so informative! I'm down 30lbs in 3 months of doing Keto + IF but sometimes I struggle to eat 7 cups of veggies and then I get snack hungry (not really hungry but I want snacks) ! I bought this kale shake in the hopes that it would be sweet and chocolatey but I was terrified of the taste... but omg it tastes so good - I prefer mixing it with Almond Milk instead of water though! After a couple of days I decided to brave adding in some extra kale to really boost my veggies so I juiced 5 cups of kale then mixed it into 1 scoop of powder with Almond milk and I still could not taste the kale - Best part is that it doesn't contain any nasty ingredients! My only complaint was the shipping was a little slow but worth the wait :)

I am fighting pancreatic cancer, and going through chemo and this powder tastes way better than boost, premier protein and others which have at least 22 grams of sugar. There are times when I have no appetite and this product is much easier to drink, plus it is great protein which I am lacking. My only complaint is the size of the container. I bought the big one for the same price a couple years back. I paid approximately $60. For the small one including shipping. I am not sure if it is worth that much for the smaller size. Will most likely buy again only because it is the only protein drink that I like.

I have tried other shake mixes and I have to say, for being healthy, this one is great!!! They use kale (which you can't taste at all) and pea protein. It is more expensive that other types of shakes out there, but I think it's so much better for you than the ones with all kinds of junk in them. I start my day with one in the morning (as suggested by Dr. Berg to boost metabolism). I went to his website and ordered the "auto" ship. When done like that, it's actually cheaper than on Amazon. So, I will be buying another when I run out.

Unbelievable. I really didn't expect much when I ordered this. I mean, kale? How can you mask that taste? I figured it would probably taste like some horrible concoction of chocolate laced with kale. If you want to have kale for the health benefits but, let's face it, kale is pretty yucky. You can't even taste the kale with this shake. It's like having a chocolate shake with supper. Woo hoo! Here's how I do it. I use my Nutri Bullet and since I use store bought kale:1. I fill the Nutri Bullet about 1/4 with vinegar and then water to make a 1 to 3 ratio, 1 being vinegar, 3 being water.2. Then I tear up 2 big kale leaves and put in there.3, Then I put the mixer base on and shake it up real good this way and that way to make sure and clean all the kale.4. Then I rinse 3 times to get the vinegar out. Just filling the Nutri Bullet with water and pouring it back out 3 times.5. Then I fill a measuring cup to 1 cup of ice. That's because the Nutri Bullet will make the shake too warm after mixing a few minutes.6. Then add water to about 1 1/4 cup mark.7. Then push the kale aside and pour the ice water in so the ice falls to the bottom. This way, when you turn it over, the ice will be on top and the water will be on the bottom. If you don't do this, you'll have problems chopping up the ice first while the kale sits on top.8. I blend for 3 1/2 minutes.9. If you have trouble digesting all the raw fiber at first (like me) I strain the kale mixture, pushing hard with a spoon through the strainer to make sure you get all that kale goodness and not waste it while separating only the fiber. Now I strain a little less of the kale mixture going forward so I'm increasing the raw fiber slowly over time as my digestion gets used to it.10. Then add the kale shake powder to the kale mixture in the Nutri Bullet.11. I also add 1 teaspoon of Dr Berg's Wheat Grass Juice Powder.12. Then mix for another 30 seconds.I drink this with my meal because I figure the vitamins need the fat that's in my meal. That's just my best guess and I'm sure I eat less because that is one filling drink.
