I noticed one where I receive deep tissue massage and owners are very new age health oriented. I got my first and loved it’s soft, warm glow. Then in a ‘Counterclockwise’ manner stared noticing it's positive effects. Relaxing, inviting, something in the rooms that seemed cleaner (?). Then I noticed something missing: ‘sweet aunts’!!! Florida is a breeding ground for insects all year round and sweet ants are in a category all their own. One drops a bread crumb and, voila’.... you have a tsunami invasion of the little critters 🐜🐜🐜; a constant nuisance !! However, this year I noticed they had vanished from my home. I love research and started checking ‘what’s new in the house’this year... all I could come up with: the salt lamps! Not a single aunt this year even baiting them with little crumbs here and there. I then read how this was a possible benefit of the lamps. How scientific is this conclusion? Don’t know - don’t care.
