Off A Few Degrees. *by C***. on November 12, 2021* I normally run digital-analog gauges but was told mechanical are more accurate. I've put enough of those gauges in a bunch of my cars, so doing these were a breeze. The only thing I'm going to ding these on, in stars, is the difference between what the temp gauge tells me, and what the display for my EFI is telling me. I'm not sure which one is the accurate one, but I'm going to lean towards what the EFI controller is telling me is correct. They're about 7 degrees apart (the gauge being the higher one). Not a big deal, since I'm only concerned with the needle in the gauge going to the H peg. Easier to keep an eye on the gauge over pulling the EFI controllerout of the glove box and sifting through the data list. I also went with the copper tube (Auto Meter # 3224) for the oil pressure gauge.
