It works well as long and its applied well. The mosquitoes still hover around but they dont land and suck. I found that if I sprayed a bunch in my hand and rubbed it on my dogs ears it even kept the deer flies away. It needed to be applied more often and applied heavier to keep them away. But it did work. The smell is strong but its pleasant. I use it for my self and my family also. This is better than any other natural mosquitoe repellent I have ever bought.
