The only problem I have had is when my wifi craps out and I need to resync these to the wifi but this has only happened once. I would recommend these smart outlets. Setup was quick and straightforward using the Kasa app, and it connected to Wi-Fi without any issues. Within minutes I had it integrated with Google Home.
