If you like jarred beets, the flavor isn’t off-putting at all, but if you don’t like jarred beets, the beet flavor will be very noticeable and most likely undesirable for you. So, I guess it really comes down to personal preference. The flavor also mixes well with a number of smoothie flavors too - it doesn’t overpower the other flavors. I also think the powder mixes well in just water and stirred with a spoon. It does clump sometimes, but never clumps when mixed in a smoothie - still just stirred with a spoon. I doubt it would clump at all in a shaker bottle mixed with a smoothie mix or on its own. My only complaint is the number of serving in a container.
