It could grow on you.... **Q: Is this water resistant if so could it be used in a bath tub ?** A: No it isn’t water resistant. It’s not comfortable and have found that you slip off because the cover is a silky material. It’s not comfortable or supportive. Mine has been used twice and is now in a cupboard never to be used again. Very comfortable to sit on and it has a cooling effect which is great given my office tends to get very hot. the inside of it is a bit springy so not getting any pressure in a particular area which is great given I have back and joint problems. I recently bought an orthopedic doughnut ring cushion but this gel mat is actually more comfortable for me.Only one thing I wish was it being a bit bigger but the size should fit most desk chairs which is good. I have an office chair with a wider base hence it probably looks a bit small in the photo but for a normal-sized seat, I imagine it would cover more of the seat.
