Even when fixing teriyaki. The coating is wearing off around the top edge. **Q: Has anyone who actually owns these pans repeatedly put them in the dishwasher? Do they keep well through repeated dishwasher use?** A: I haven’t put mine in the dishwasher but even with daily minor use (eggs, taco meat, lasagna) the coating has started to peel and I’ve only ever handwashed my pans. I DO NOT recommend these pans. **Q: is this pan PTFE free?** A: You should go to the manufacturer, I don't know what is PTFE .I like the pan it's stainless steel core with ceramic on the inside. Food Never stick nor burn. **Q: Can anyone offer their opinion on the "Evershine" stainless steel finish? Does it keep the pots/pans from discoloring or protect from minor scratches** A: It's a wonderful pan,not totally scratch proof but close to it.
