The standard cables are pretty crappy, so that's not difficult to do. But I do also have more than the average amount of experience building cables to carry specific signals, and precision custom electronics. Without knowing the specifics of the materials used in this product, I approve of the design concept for this application, and (without access to the audiological tools required for detailed objective analysis) I'm pleased with their performance. These are high quality cables. In fact, better than I had expected. When I first received them I was a little wary of how small gauge the wire was. I'm not now, not at all. They sound great, every bit as good as the original cable provided with my HighfiMan HE 400 cans. And you don't have to worry about getting strangled by cord if you use in bed at night, like I do. This is a VERY HIGH quality cable at a Great PRICE. Mine was delivered within 6 business days even though it made the long trip from China.
