In Mountain Goats you work to move your goats to the top of 6 different mountains where they can score points as long as they stay there. You can share spaces with other goats on the way up, but there is only room for one goat at the top of each mountain. If someone else's goat moves to the mountain top, they will kick you off and you'll have to start your trek over.It's a game about timing. You need to not just get to the top of the mountain, but get there when no one else is in position to knock you off.It's a game about keeping your eye on your opponents. Maximizing your score, but also making sure you don't let anyone else score too much.There is the fun chance to knock each other off the mountain. But it doesn't feel too mean because you can only knock back goats that are in a scoring position, and it isn't a huge setback. It is just a normal part of the cycle of the game.

**Q: Are the dice metal?  They kind of look that way.  Just curious!**
A: No, the dice are not metal.

**Q: If i roll 6,5,4,4 can i move on 6,5 and 8 (three goats)?  what if i roll all sixes?**
A: Yes, with roll 6-5-4-4 you could move three goats up one level on mountains #6, #5 and #8. The rules say you can group your four dice however you like. As for rolling 6-6-6-6, only the goat on mountain #6 could move up as many as four times. If you reached the top and had any of your sixes left over, those earn you a six-point chip on top of that mountain, if there are any left.

Me gustan estos juegos por que son sencillos, muy fáciles de explicar a niños y adultos, en una cajita compacta y con componentes de calidad aceptable; en este caso las cabras son muy bonitas. El objetivo es tirar dados y acomodarlos en grupos (según sus valores) y mover a tus cabras hacia las cimas de las montañas que coinciden con los números de los dados recogiendo puntos y lanzando hacia abajo a cualquier cabra que este en la cima. Cuando se acaban las fichas de puntos en tres cimas el juego termina. Todo bien, bonito y entretenido para un rato. Una vez más los jugadores avanzados no encontraran mucho aquí, pero quienes quieren convivir con niños, familia o amigos que no juegan cosas complejas... la pasaran bien. Hay una expansión para ampliar el numero de jugadores de venta aquí en amazon. Las cartas que representan las montañas son un dolor de cabeza para quienes quieren enfundar. Se necesitan fundas de 105x105, pero hasta donde se no existen y lo único es intentar conseguir fundas para fotos de 105x150 y recortarlas, pero también es complejo encontrarlas
