Just apply a bead to the back, wait 10 mins and dampen the wall. I use bags of sand to hold it in place and make sure it doesn't grow off the wall. Even fix window boards on with it and can adjust level till it sets. Amazing stuff with hundreds of uses. I am a skilled electrical mechanical engineer by profession and was an on screen expert for BBC Watchdog and Rogue Traders for some years and subsequently sworn to honesty. I tend to research a product drilling down into the quality and value of the item before I buy. I am not paid for my reviews and have no personal gain from them. The spray is hard to work. Had to get replacement and still didn't work. **Q: I bought large iron plant stand the stand is ornate but has cavaties i dont like will fill the holes and can i then paint ovrr** A: I've have used expanding foam to fill in cavities , but it's not very good for painting .
