Liberty Meadows Volume 3: Summer Of Love (New Printing)

Frank Cho's continuing tale of the happenings at Liberty Meadows is, I believe, the first "comic" that has ever made me feel something for the characters. It's hilarious, crude, sexy, heartbreaking, awkward, suspenseful, and "I can't turn the pages fast enough", all at once. This is the first and only series that has made me want to follow the characters, just to see what happens next. As per usual Frank Cho, the artwork is stunning. Mr. Cho knows how to draw women. Not in a perverted way, but you can tell he appreciates the female form, and his pen speaks to that appreciation. Great series. 5 stars.

With vol. 3 Frank Cho veers from the mostly G rated shenanigans of the first 2 volumes and starts to get into fan service. Since I got this for my 11 year old daughter who loved the first 2 volumes we were both a little disappointed at the adult soap opera turn, still no more risqué than PG-13 fair but not what we really wanted. This is more representative of where Cho ended up going with his later career and if you are an adult you will like it assuming you like his other stuff, but for me it lost a little of that Pogo style magic he captured with the earlier works. It's a quality volume, the artwork as always is outstanding.

I'm a big fan of Frank Cho, I love the way he draws and his enormous imagination, this collection of stories were part of me in my daily life and I really enjoy read them, Have this book was a great opportunity to star a collection in bring my memories back.I am living in Mexico now and I found the delivery services magnificent. Really short time and book in excellent condition.Thank you

I stumbled upon the Liberty Meadows series while looking at another book portraying the work of Frank Cho. This is some of his early work and I have gotten more than a few laughs over it. If your a Frank Cho fan, pick these books up.

Frank Cho is a Master of India Ink. After Bill Watterson there is no one better then Frank! They are the only two that make me laugh my butt off before I go to work. This not a specific review for this book because I bought all of them, and LOVE EM ALL!

Liberty Meadows is a hilarious and sadly underrated comic following the adventures of a group animals with issues and the long suffering humans who take care of them.This collection has the classic 'Evil Brandy' storyline that has to be read to be believed.My only issue with the collections is that they don't include the Sunday strips which were collected in the comics.It's a great series read this book.

I love Frank Cho's art and Liberty Meadows is one of my favorite comic strip.

Divertido y con un excelente dibujo. Aunque está traducido al español, recomiendo su lectura en el original inglés; si se tiene cierto nivel es bastante fácil de seguir y la edición es estupenda, en gran formato y con muchos extras.Como nota negativa: la descripción pone que tiene 224 páginas y no es así, son unas 144 como en los demás tomos.

Versione in lingua inglese ben curata per un’opera grafica che è una gioia per gli occhi e per la mente. Consigliato.

Liberty Meadows, l'oeuvre de Franck Cho ! Les albums sont en couverture souple, ce qui n'est pas la meilleure finition du monde, mais le prix est très intéressant, et les ajouts en fin de livre sont tout simplement superbes :)
