It got all soft again as soon as it got hot **Q: Can this product weld aluminum?** A: Epoxy resin will not "weld" aluminum. If the surfaces of the aluminum pieces are clean and free of grease or oil, epoxy will bond the two parts with surfaces having epoxy between them in a very durable way. No glue of any sort is any good for bonding the thin edges of flat aluminum or any other metal. You must have a fair amount of surface covered with epoxy to effectively "bond" the surfaces together. The surface will never be "welded" together, that requires metal to metal fusion, very high temperatures and special welding equipment. **Q: Can this product be powder coated?** A: Hi. I'm going to say yes because once it hardens 5 to 7 minutes after application, it's on solid and strong.
