Angela: Asgard's Assassin, the trade that comes before this one, is solid but doesn't really delve into Angela as a character. It more or less reinforces her as a bad ass Asgardian warrior and hints at something between her and Sera.Queen of Hel really helps develop Angela as a character and shows her vulnerable side. Her relationship and feelings for Sera are the driving force in this trade. The story is a lot of the fun, Angela travels to Hel to save Sera, and the artwork is stunning.The only thing that bugged me about this trade is that Sera breaks the 4th wall a little too much for my taste. Fortunately it does not detract from how good this book is. Just moment after moment of beautiful art. Beyond that, I really enjoyed what this team was working toward. This is a great character and very different from Thor.
