It doesn't work on reducing the appearance of hypopigmentation, though. Generally, users start to see noticeable improvement after about 4 weeks of daily usage, with optimum improvement in 8 weeks. **Q: I have a year old surgical scar, would this help to fade it?** A: The older the scar the less likely it will do anything but if it is a newer scar ( say last 30 60 days ) this stuff really works well . Wider scars you will see some improvement but don’t expect them to disappear.
