Money Tree features solid, green foliage. The Money Tree is great for large spaces. It does well in spaces that have medium, indirect light. Place Money Tree in a spot that receives medium light. Water your plant about once a week with approximately 2-3 cups and be sure all excess water drains away. Adjust as needed for your environment. Do not let the Money Tree sit in water or overly soggy soil.The height at dispatch is approximately 36-48 inches tall, measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant. The Money Tree arrives in a 10-inch décor pot. To avoid water spillage, this container does not have holes.The Money Tree is a moderate grower. Exact growth rate depends on the care provided and its environment. Give it a boost during the warm months of Spring and Summer with a general-purpose fertilizer that is formulated for potted plants. Review: Revised Review - Kudos to Costa! - UPDATE: I reached out to Costa about the horrendous state my plant was when it arrived. They were kind in their response, and immediately sent out a replacement plant. It arrived yesterday, and it is in perfect condition, save a couple of (expected) broken leaves from shipping. It's fully alive and well, and looks waaaaaaay better than the first plant I received (which continues on its death march - I'd hoped the small part that appeared still alive would fight to live, but alas and alack, it's continuing to die off). I am VERY happy with the replacement plant, it looks very healthy (no brown leaves, no funky smell) so I'm very confident it will continue to thrive. Major kudos to Costa's guarantee - they do indeed honor it, so for those that have also had the bad luck of getting a bad plant, be sure to reach out to them and they will make it right. Changing my rating to 5 stars. Thank you, Costa! Original Review: Disappointed that the money tree arrived half dead and sickly. Half the leaves are shriveled - but not dry shriveled like they were out of water too long, but wet shriveled like they were kept in the dark with too much moisture for too long, if that makes sense. The healthiest of the leaves were broken clean off. The plant overall looks super sad and definitely not good. I reached out to Costa to find out what my options are since this is not returnable to desertcart, but Costa supposedly has a guarantee. I've gotten radio silence on their end. Not happy. Will revise this review if I ever hear from them on this fiasco. I bought 3 plants at the same time from Costa - the other two are perfect, this one is the problematic/dead one. Such a bummer!
Review: BEWARE! 3 MONEY TREES DIED - 11 OF 13 OF MY COSTA FARMS PLANTS HAVE ALL DIED VERY QUICKLY! - Over the past 10 months, I have purchased 3 Money Tree plants (in Jan, Apr, Oct of 2025) AND ALL HAVE DIED! Furthermore, I have purchased a total of 14 plants and trees through desertcart (and in some cases The Home Depot). All grown by and shipped directly from COSTA FARMS. Unfortunately, with the exception of two plants (one of which is still struggling), ALL HAVE DIED WITHIN WEEKS OR A FEW MONTHS OF ARRIVAL. Please note that I have successfully maintained healthy houseplants for over 40 years, so this experience is unusual for me. The plants from COSTA FARMS always arrive looking beautiful, pretty much like the photos used on the desertcart site above used to sell you the plant, but soon after arrival, they begin to deteriorate—losing leaves and declining rapidly. I suspect this may be due to intensive fertilization during cultivation. Then go into shock once they leave the facility at COSTA FARMS which leads to their death. Notably, the plants never COMPLETELY die within the 30-day return window, making it difficult to claim a refund. **Q: The plant has stones, am I supposed to remove them?**
A: Hi ssm984! Thank you for reaching out! You can soak the stones in water for about 15 minutes or until the glue has soften. Once the glue is soft you will be able to gently pull the stones up. If you have any questions, please let is know at questions@costafarms.com.

**Q: How big will the Money Tree get? Has anyone had to repot their tree yet?**
A: Hi! The Pachira tree can grow to be about 6 to 7 feet indoors with plenty of care and time. The size of the tree when grown as an indoor plant is largely determined by the age of the plant and the pot size. We hope this helps!

**Q: How Often Should I Water This?**
A: Hi Alexa! It is recommended to water the plant once every 7 to 10 days and adjust for your environment as needed. The soil takes longer to dry in cooler temperatures and dries out quicker in warmer temperatures. We hope this helps!

**Q: I can't get it to ship anywhere in California.  Is this because of the planter material?**

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Only Get The Biggest Tree

1. Only buy the largest tree. Nothing else will do. Spend the extra money, it is well worth it. Had other sizes and they don't come close to the quality and durability. 2. My tree looked amazing when it arrived but almost all the branches were broken. I'm not sure if this could have been helped with shipping as it was a big tree. I took off all of the broken leaves and it was bare. It looked nonredeemable. Only 3 branches with leaves remained on the tree and the floor was filled with all of the leaves and branches from the tree. It looked like it was not going to make it. What a mess and a waste I thought. The tree trunk looked amazing and so did the pot, I wanted to have hope so I did. I put this tree across the room from my 2 plant lights, put soil pellets on the surface of the pot (which looks amazing) and watered every 3-4 days and sprayed the leaves and trunk every day with water. In one month, the tree is almost full of leaves. It was like a miracle. I watched them grow every day, new stems, leaves and everything. This would never have been the case with my other smaller trees. This is the best plant or tree purchase ever. 3. Do NOT add any chemicals, extra stuff or add new soil. It doesn't need it and from my experience that stuff can change the PH balance and ruin your tree. Add trusted "Slow Release Plant Food Pellets" and nothing more and watch this plant soar. It took about a week before it started growing but after that, it is fast growing non stop. I am going to start trimming it and removing unwanted growth next week. That is how full it is now. 4. Spray mist the leaves with water every day if you can. Do not water the pot more than twice a week, maybe every 3-4 days is fine. Do not put this tree in direct sunlight. I used 2 indoor plant lights that are not very close to it and it worked out fine. 5. Get the large tree version and give it care. spend the extra money, it is worth it. I hope they give you the quality tree I received and if the leaves come broken, follow these simple instructions and in 1 month, you will see a new tree.
