Install and forget - they just work - These aren't huge fixtures but they suffice. There's an up light and a down light affect. I put these in in front of my 2 car garage, the up light is captured by the white soffet and reflected down and around due to the design on my garage. I installed these during the day and tried to test them by covering the photo sensor but couldn't get them to turn on. It got me a little worried but when night came around they fired right up and looked great. I love just being able to leave them on, they turn on at sunset and off at dawn. They provide more than enough light in my driveway and garage area to safely light the area. We had very traditional, "birdcage" lights, original to the house. My husband and I were looking for something modern and sleek but beautiful and practical.
