Had an issue with one of the two I ordered having defective part and manufacturer did not hesitate to send out replacement. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had to do a minor modification to get the umbrella and base to work together *by W***M on Reviewed in the United States on February 12, 2022* I bought a 10 ft. square offset rotating umbrella and the 4 piece 220 lb. Base. My umbrella works well and rotates easily. But there was a problem. Even though the picture shows the base being used on a rotating umbrella, there was no way the base pieces would fully interlock and still be able to rotate. You could not depress the rotation release pedal. I had to raise the rotating assembly 2 inches above the bottom X frame. I bought 200 M8 x 24 flat washers and 4 M8 X 1.25 X 80 socket headed cap screws (Bolts you tighten with an allen wrench.) I stacked 30 washers between the X base and the rotating assembly and used the longer bolts then everything worked well. It would probably be a 5 star rating if not for me having to modify it to work with the base. Nowhere in the base description did I see where it said "not to be used with a rotating umbrella.FootnotePurple leaf saw my post and realized that a part was somehow left out of the base I bought for the umbrella. They contacted me and immediately sent me the spacer that takes the place of the washers. Everything works fine and I have changed my rating to 5 star. The customer service was outstanding. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Loving it so far *by N***D on Reviewed in the United States on June 2, 2021* Our frame of reference is the IKEA umbrella which is a bit less expensive than this one… But not by much. In comparison, this seems to be made it to a far higher quality specification not to mention that all of the parts are a nice neutral gray color.The umbrella definitely needs a solid base and I was able to construct a weighted box out of wood and mounted to an adjacent fence structure as well as filled it with rocks to keep it super sturdy.It opens up amazingly easily and closes to a discreet form.
