Review: Popping taste - I know it's not caviar, but it works perfectly with my Costco brie and water crackers. Good value for the money as in 1 20th of good caviar with is basically fishy salty goodness. You'll get the salty just not the fishy.
Review: Really Bad! Truly a SHAME! - I love Season's other products (buy their boneless skinless sardines regularly) but this is AWFUL! I took 2 bites and threw it out (second bite was to make sure it was really THAT bad). Looked very promising - good consistency, not oily, etc. Okay until I tasted it. Initially bland-only taste is a slightly unpleasant mildly salty unidentifiable taste. Then it has an especially nasty middle and after-taste (that lingers). Might be okay for a tiny tiny bit as a garnish to give people the visual and mental illusion that caviar was used but not to consume as a caviar substitute. Truly "icky" What a shame from a great brand.
