The woofer was placed into a 1.25 cubic inche sealed inclosure per punch recommendation. The excursion (up and down motion) was impressive. Rockford Fosgate Punch P1 P1S812 12-Inch 150-Watt Subwoofer - 8 Ohm ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great subs but be careful *by R***. on February 24, 2016* Great subs but be careful, amazon says 150rms but Rockford's website says 250rms. I originally had these hooked up to a 2ch amp and they hit hard but it crapped out on me so I had to buy a new one. I based all my research off of the amazon info which was wrong. Seeing how these are 8ohm I currently have them hooked up as 4ohm to my amp which supplies 300watts @ 4 ohm. They hit okay and now I know the reason why they don't hit as hard. Currently under powered by almost 100 watts. I don't know too much about subs, but it seems 8 ohms aren't the ones to buy since amps don't do 8 and your going to have to wire it for 4 ohms anyways. If they were 4ohm I could have wired them for 2 and gotten the 500 watts.
