ACIACI 174173 Windshield Washer Pump

Quick shipping, item as described. Just received and installed the pump today (4-16-22). Install was quick and easy. I removed the passenger wheel and pulled some push pins from part of inner fender well cover so i could just bend it out of the way. Figured thatd be easier than removing whole front bumper but anyways the Only thing I don't like is it's a little looser fit than the original. I should've tried using the original grommet and maybe it would've been a little more snug but it doesn't leak and it works so I'm happy with it.

Easy to install, but your only going to get about a year or so out of it. For the price, it’s to be expected.

This arrived very promptly to replace my old decrepit pump in my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The hardest part about installing it was draining the fluid from the tank. I popped off the lower hose and put another drain hose on and drained it into a clean milk jug. Then, you pull the top out horizontally and wiggle the large bottom port from the rubber seal. Use pliers to remove the old rubber ring and install the new one. Then shove the new pump in the new rubber seal and click the top back in. Refill, check for leaks and you're good to go... Turned out my problem was due to a 1/4" hole in the upper tubing from rubbing on the wiper arms. Had to remove and install new hose.

FYI there is only one outlet on this. If you have front & rear nozzles, get a Y (splitter) to connect the tube. While you are at it, replace the nozzles and tubing. They get old and brittle.

I installed this motor on a 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT and it did not meet OEM function. The sprayer cannot distinguish between front windshield and rear windshield, so instead delivers fluid to both windshields regardless of which I am trying to control.

Easy to install. The more challenging part was removal of front bumper of car. Easier than I thought it would be. 2010 Nissan Altima.
