The adhesive pad is typical sponge, sticky, probably would leave marks on light walls? The stars themselves are thick, good quality.Once theyre stuck up, after lights off they glow superr bright and begin to dull over the next half an hour to virtually nothing BUT if you wake up and want to see them again just shine your phone flashlight and they're back up! I understand what people are saying about them not glowing all night but its a good half an hour after lights out to oogle at your ceiling and fall asleep.
