- Supports up to 4K @60Hz 4:4:4 (8-bit). Compliant with HDMI 2.0, USB-C and HDCP 2.2. NOTE: LG Ultrafine monitors are not compatible with this adapter
- Important Note: YUV 4:2:0 (4K/60Hz) is not supported with USB-C displays. For Apple TV 4K, change the color space to 4:2:2 or 4:4:4 to display 4K content properly. Roku Ultra can only display 4K content up to 2560x1440 or 1080p

**Q: Can you use this to extend screen from laptop to 2 external monitors?**
A: It all depends if the USB C port in your laptop carries video with it.  I have two computers and one of them carries video via USB C but the other one does not.

**Q: I want to connect a laptop with hdmi to a docking station that has usb-c will this work?**
A: yes,  mine is working

**Q: Does this send power via usb c as well if power is plugged into the adapter?**
A: I did a test and it does not seem to send power, only video. I did a test connecting it to a portable 16 inch monitor and it did not power on the monitor, I had to connect the power adapter for the monitor. (That was with the power connected to the HDMI to USB C adapter, using a 5v 2amp power block). On the other hand if I connect the monitor to a computer (Mac or Windows) via USB C it sends video and power. Hope that helps.

**Q: Is the output using displayport alt mode ?**
A: I don't know because I only use HDMI
