Remove the pod's outer sleeve, peel off the lid and put the DYLON colour pod on top of the fabric. 2.Run a full cycle at either 30oC or 40oC 3.Once the cycle has finished, run another cycle at either 30oC or 40oC with your normal detergent 4.Recommended to run a third cycle with the washing machine empty adding just your normal detergent to ensure all dye is clear from the washing machine Suitable for: cotton, linen & viscose. Mixes with synthetics will dye to lighter shades (pure synthetics will not dye).One pack dyes 600g of fabric to full shade and up to 1.8kg to a lighter shade. **Q: Can this be used in a top-loading washer?**
A: No - this is specifically manufactured for front loading machines and not top loaders - Minerva

**Q: My sheets didn't change color; was I supposed to pause the machine so it can soak?**
A: I had same problem when I used, I put that in my review. I was contacted by company once, with no further contact following.  I do not recommend this product!

**Q: Can this be used on carpets?**
A: This pod works in your washing machine. If your carpet fits in your washer, then the only question is what fiber is the carpet made from? I used it to dye cotton pants and it worked great, but the red polyester (or maybe nylon) labels didn’t take on the dye.

**Q: can I dye black to orange?**
A: Bleach the black item first, it will bring it to a lighter cream/orange shade and then can be dyed your desired orange or any other shade for that matter.
