We installed a 55 inch 35lb LCD tv with this mount. The mount is too narrow accommodate the TV and we had to bend the hardware to make it fit. The metal mounted to the wall is not very heavy and easily bends if its not secured by mounting to studs at each end. Be sure that you mount exactly where you want the TV, because there is little if any right-left adjustment once the mount is in place.updated 7/10/2019. Manufacturer reached out and replaced the product.
