When it does leak, I get one ice ball that might be only 3/4 complete. * It takes a full 24 hours to make a batch of ice. These ice balls are thick and take some time to freeze all the way through. * The ice can crack in water, which ruins some of the fun, but they often don't break apart, even if there is some cracking. * Removal can be a little tricky. I find it is best to let it sit for a couple minutes, break all the ice of the top out of the little funnels (if any), then use my thumb to push the ice out of the silicone while pulling back on the edge of the silicone.
