It just allows enough power at a higher ohm load to run to 1 12” but you never know when a upgrade is around the corner. The 800x1 would work better with 2 CompRs but will still run the single 12 at a higher ohm load! **Q: Is it 2ohm stable?** A: Absolutely! If you run one sub get a D4 and wire it to two ohms.
