**Q: Good to wash?**
A: Yes, wash. Dishwasher may dry them out so I hand wash which goes easily. Fun bowls.

**Q: Are they big like cereal bowls or are they more like snack/dessert bowls?**
A: These bowls are small. More for dessert or soup appetizer like egg drop soup. The are beautifully made and it comes with soup spoons.

**Q: Is the wood a dark color? I need a lighter color as shown in the first photo.**
A: bowls come about the same color but possibly will darken over time

**Q: About how many ounces capacity?**
A: Haven't actually measured the ounce capacity but ... a full cup for sure (8 oz) and probably more.  Enough for soup prior to dinner and or too much LOL coleslaw or whatever you intend to use it for.  I like Asian soups and it easily holds an amount equal to what I would receive in a restaurant.  Hope this helps.

The color of the actual bowls I got are darker than the picture. The bowls are small, same size as an average "cupped" hand. Comes with wooden spoons. Very nice product.

I hate the feeling of silverware against my teeth and the feeling of it clinking on a ceramic bowl. These bowls are perfect. They're easy to clean, feel good in the mouth with a great spoon shape, and stack easily in the cabinet. The bowls are small, but for me they are a good portion size. Just smaller than the average bowl you would get at Walmart. It's like a coconut size.
