Review: Not for heavier adults or back issues - This is a medium firm mattress but based on the recommended weight, it probably should be adjusted down to around 100-150# max. The issue is the sides and ends of the mattress. Anyone heavier will depress the foam too much, making it difficult to get out of the bed comfortably and if sitting at the corner, one could actually fall off. The 8” depth makes a difference so for a heavier individual, I would recommend a heaver foam (very firm) and if possible a thicker mattress (10” or greater). The 8” med-firm has hurt the back because it’s not dense enough.
