The drinking opening does not stay closed. If topped over you will find fluid quickly and in quantity find your liquid everywhere als the seal became loose and they entire lid falls off. At that point you will find 24 ounces if orange soda, which I enjoyed drinking and having it remain ice cold for hours, while sitting in my parked car in temperatures topping 100* F. However, the top or cover became discolored, failed to remain in the container, etc. I no longer can risk using either tumbler. I can afford to keep having to have carpets in my car, my house and not to mention in my office, at friends homes, etc. I inquired with a sales rep for your product had an extra lid and gave it to me. That lid was worse than the kids that came with the tumblers. They were only 3 months old! What a disaster! I couldn’t return them to the high end kitchen special product store. My daughter is manager of the establishment and the owner would not be pleased if it was returned. Even for me stating this it could cause problems. Please I do like the tumblers but just got tired of cleaning and repairing the damage caused because your product is what it is. My better judgement should prevail but I probably will try your tumbler shaped like a bottle and appears to use a screw on lid. Can’t velueve I fell for your product and ended up with not much to show for it but an empty wallet. **Q: Can this washed in the dishwasher?** A: I have never washed mine in the dishwasher. I just don't think it best to do so. **Q: What type of cover does the 24oz have? Want to know if I have to remove the cover to drink or does it have an opening? Would someone please post a pic** A: It has a travel lid cover. Plastic with a rubber gasket that is removable for easy cleaning. It has a sliding opening that allows you to open, drink and close. There is also a place for your straw. **Q: Is it dishwasher safe?** A: I don't have anything official, but we have had no problems.
