## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works Perfectly
*by D***E on April 2, 2022*

Bought this as a substitute for a Stratux AHRS 2.0 module, which is no longer available. After installing (minimal soldering required, just to attach connector header wires) and connecting the board to the Raspberry Pi 3b GPIO pins, the Stratux software immediately recognized the sensor array and began displaying pitch, bank, yaw, and acceleration in all three axes, plus barometric altitude. The Stratux software's dynamic calibration sub-system was able to re-orient the x, y, and z axes to conform with the orientation of the circuit board as I installed it in the Stratux box. Unlike a stand-alone MPU9250 and BMP280 combination, this unit is not subject to calibration drift once it warms up and becomes thermally stable. In short, for my hardware / software application -- Stratux ADS-B in unit -- this device works perfectly.

### ⭐ These are NOT MPU9250, they are MPU6500
*by R***S on April 24, 2024*

These don't work with the MPU9250 library. When the chip WHOAMI is requested it is showing the ID for the MPU6500 which does not have a magnetometer.MPU9250 WHO AM I = 70AK8963 WHO AM I = 0Could not connect to AK8963The code states 70 is the WHOAMI for the MPU6500:static constexpr uint8_t MPU6500_WHOAMI_DEFAULT_VALUE {0x70};

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ You get 2, not 3, contrary to title and pictures
*by S***N on March 7, 2023*

The media could not be loaded. Based on the picture of 3 of them and the "3pcs" in the title, you would expect to get 3 of them. They came in a small zip lock bag that contains each of them in separate anti-static sealed bags, but... there was only get 2 of them. So, I went on amazon and filed for "missing item", Amazon gave me the choice for them to just send me a one with no need to return the ones I received - which is good because I've already soldered two of them so I could use them. I received the replacement - it's another identical ziplock back with 2 of them inside again. So... you probably can get 4 by doing this since they lie on their listing, but you have to jump through some hoops. Ideally they would just send the proper amount to start with though.From a product perspective, it works well. I used it to build a Stratux ADS-B AHRS input connected to a Raspberry Pi 3B. Worked great. I used a pair of needle nose pliers to bend the provided pins into a 90º (4 pins at a time with the pliers) in order to make it "low profile" with the connections before soldering them to the board. This allowed my to use standard push on prototyping cables and hot glue it to the case so it doesn't move around. Word of warning: only one side has SMDs on it, do NOT hot glue that side down, because if you have to move it, you're likely to do what I did and end up pulling the cover of one of the SMDs right off the board. I ultimately just used another (since I had an extra now) instead of risking that I ruined that one. I also took a knife and grooved some cross hatch pattern to my plastic case where I was going to hot glue it since my case was very smooth. It has held extremely well.
