This makes shopping for cosmetics a nightmare. I am always on the lookout for shadows and lipstick in particular. If I find these without red dye, I usually buy them - no matter if I need them or not. This time I needed some spring colored lipstick. I really wanted a peach, but could not find it. I ran across this color and thought it would be nice. I will be the first to admit that $15 is a lot for lipstick. But that is about the going price for no dye lipstick now. I read the reviews and decided to purchase. It came on time and in a nice package. The ingredients were stated on the side of the box but then said, "also may contain - Red Dye # 40, etc, etc. So I worried about using it. They only way to know is to put it on. It did not have red dye. It was actually a nice soothing feel. I left it on for a while and did not have any dryness. There is actually a lot of lipstick in this tube. I felt better about paying so much for it when I saw how much there was. As for the color - it is very bright! It is perfect for spring but very bright. I did not really find it to look like the picture. It was not a coral - more of a hot pink/coral maybe. I wore it today with a shirt that was almost the same color and I thought it matched well but it was so bright that I put some light colored lip gloss over it to tone it down a little. Judging from the looks I got from others - it is really, really bright! I was fine with that because I wanted it to be very spring like. But that might not be what you are looking for. It stayed on for hours and did not dry out my lips. I will give it four stars because I thought the color was not an exact match as the picture.
