Everything (all 3 screens and all electrical) has been working perfectly since. I never thought it could have been the DVD ribbon cable causing all the problems we experienced with our 2008 town and country, but it certainly was. So if posting the issues here could help anyone: ALL the gauges on the dash would drop down low like the van was going to stall every couple minutes while driving and all the "warnings" would flash at the same time all lights on the dash would light up and the "dinging" alarm would chime. Then I noticed it ONLY did that when the middle row DVD screen was open. Shortly after all that went on the middle screen stopped working unless in a certain position, then all together and it wouldn't light up or have the Chrysler emblem like the front and back screen...so I knew that had to be the problem. But after about an hour I switched both cables and it works like new. My kids and I are all enjoying traveling again now that it's fixed!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exactly what we needed *by B***E on Reviewed in the United States on April 4, 2018* After looking on YouTube how to fix the black screen on my 2010 VW Routan VES (Video Entertainment System) I saw that replacing the ribbon cables worked for most people. Overall the process took about 2 hrs. You have to be extremely careful when you open the circuit board so I suggest getting the kids out of the house for this one.
