北斗キャラは、劇画が原作であるが故に、いわゆるアニメチックな造形はそぐわない。また、北斗ファンが北斗フィギュアを望むワケは、『実写に極めて近いルックスだけれど、実写は不可能』である北斗キャラを、立体で体感したいからである。実写に近い。これはすなわち、『顔が現実の人間に近い』という意味も含まれている。従って、「なんとなく似ている」では、北斗ファンは納得しない。「かなり似ている」でなくては、北斗フィギュアの存在意義は限りなく低下してしまうのだ。その点、このソリアの顔立ちは、あらゆる角度から見ても「かなり原作に似ている」と評価できる造形である。ただ、フィギュアそのものの大きさが、今までの北斗フィギュアと比べて二回りほど小さい(片手にすっぽり入ってしまう)点は、賛否分かれるところであろう。場所をとらなくなったのを良しとするかしないかは、個人の事情や好みによるところであるが、個人的には若干物足りなさを感じた。造形のレベルを考えれば納得出来る値段だが、値段の中にフィギュアのボリュームも求めていたので、☆ひとつだけ減点。ただ、北斗ファンなら迷わず買って正解だと思う。
