This makes it problematic then trying to adjust the leg length. I found two causes. 1, if the water pressure to the sprinkler goes down because of other water demand at your house or in the neighborhood, the sprinkler performance will be reduced. 2. if using the sprinkler assembly on a slope, adjust the telescoping legs so the sprinkler level (vertical) is level and not leaning.
