I am a short triathlete, but am not built like one by any means, and so standard triathlon clothes just don't fit me, ever. I sized up bc I want to wear this for the bike and run portion of my events and I will just throw on my shorts after the swim portion. It being loose will not hurt my groin area while on the bike. However, bc I went a size up, it won't offer much breast support during the run. (But I don't have a whole lot and everything will be covered so that won't affect me too much). The suit arrived this morning so I haven't swam in it yet, but off the bat I like the modest coverage, it won't fall off in the ocean, it is fully lined and so it's not see through, and I like the sewn in padded bra (why aren't all suits and tops like that)? So far five stars. If anything changes after a swim, bike and run, I will update. For sizing reference, I am 4'11” and 132 lbs. I bought a large bc med never ever fits my butt or my back. (I'm built like a neanderthal, for real). I probably could wear this in a medium as the large is a little baggy, but baggy is more comfortable for my lifestyle. It wasn't easy to put on dry. I don't think I'd ever put it on while wet; that's silly. For a bathroom break, I'd just pull the bottom to the side and do my business. No need to try to pull on a wet bathing suit. .... Now I just need to find matching comfortable bike/running shorts (not padded.... I bought this knowing it would be tight, because it will be used for lap swimming, not just a day at the pool or beach with friends, and I intend to lose weight. I will list my body measurements and some clothing size references in the end for your comparison. On to the review. The swimsuit seems well-constructed. Quality fabric, enough stretch, decent fit on the bum and lady bits(doesn't ride up, and is not a cheek shower). By far I have a chunky but athletic build (career welder), so I was pleasantly surprised at the tummy fit, it holds everything in place. The neckline is higher, not showing cleavage or flapping around while I swim which I appreciate. The only part I'm not sold on is how much it squashes my breasts. It's mildly uncomfortable, but again, at least nothing will be flapping away in the water whilst I'm doing laps, so I will deal with it. The bust padding is mildly shaped and thin, pretty small for me, but it will do the job . I wear a 40D bra, 16 long pant(36x35 in Silver Jeans), xl tall (I have a long torso) men's shirt, usually 1-2xl womens shirt depending on the fit/brand.
