**Q: Can you brown hamburger meat in this or steak?**
A: I bought this for my husband because he is a truck driver. I would make him enough meals for about 4 days but couldn't make more then that or they would go bad . So I bought the roaster for him he has been using it on this trip he is on he says it's awesome he loves it I packed enough froze meat to last him almost 2 weeks. He has cooked steak ,pork chops ,chicken breast and Hamburg. He says everything is really good except he didn't like the way the Hamburg came out. The lid locks down so all the moisture made the Hamburg taste boiled he said I'm sure if you leave the lid off if it will turn out better . But the hubby loves it he can make real meals and not have to eat microwaved meals every day . Hope this helped.
